I jumped at the chance to wear my MVW Canada costume, made by Kimmera Madison (Owner and Designer for Tres Beau Designs, one of the oldest fashion houses in SL, circa 2004), from the MVW pageant two years ago on Saturday. I keep it in a special place in my inventory closet and sometimes on a down day I take it out and put it on. We stood on the BOSL stage cheering and waving as people that had survived cancer, been their care givers, or one of the many groups that raised money for Relay for Life, I could stop and remember those that I had loved that had walked this twisted path. Thank you to Frolic for giving me this opportunity to be a part of something special.
The rain is still coming down. All I can do is dream of a cloudless blue summer sky and hope it will return.
Even if the sun can’t be here to lighten my mood, I feel happy in this outfit from Leezu.

What is Fierce?
The Urban Dictionary say that it was first used in the 1990’s to 2000’s by gay men to describe
absolutely everything that was of “exceptional quality” Then it came to be known as being bold, displaying chutzpah when relating to fashion, clothes, hair and makeup.
And also: A word that can describe something as outstanding, really cool, eye catching, brutal and satisfying. Now it is a term used in fashion for anything cool, sexy, awesome or something positive.
So when we, as models, are told to be … Fierce … What can we do? To me, you have to think
outside the box. Go to your closet and get a piece from here and a piece from there and magically put them all together until ?? Well theres the rub. What one thinks of as fierce another may think you’ve just totally lost your mind but if fierce is, an attitude that we ascribe to be, then what you need to do is, do what we have always been told … Be yourself! Be the fiercest you that you can be and still love it. And when you really have found the truth and when you can stand alone and shout, “Hey guys this is me!” Then, fierce or not, you have passed the test. Because the only thing any of us can really do is, be the best you, you can be.
